The APR Stage 2 Spring Upgrade for Haldex is the hardware component that unlocks the full potential of APR’s AWD controller calibration for Gen 5 Haldex. Engineered as a direct replacement for the factory clutch pressure relief spring, this precision-calibrated upgrade enables significantly higher achievable clamping pressures under increased torque demand while maintaining OEM-level drivability and system integrity. When paired with APR Stage 2 software for Haldex, the upgraded spring supports dramatically increased clutch pressure during high-load conditions, improving torque transfer to the rear axle and delivering faster, more consistent AWD engagement during aggressive launches and performance driving.
