Looking at the stock charge pipe, however, you might not think BMW thought this was particularly important. Two rubber hoses carry that precious boost out of the turbos and into an (ugly) plastic merge before it enters the intercooler. Some owners are already seeing cracks and failures of this plastic merge on M2s, M3s, and M4s pushing more boost.
